  • Can anyone perform a botched Inc. procedure?

No. Only an officially trained Botched Ink technician is qualified to perform the procedure.

  • What kind of results can I expect?

This depends on your goal.  Botched Ink will lighten saturated pigment and refresh color that has changed over time.  If you’re looking to start over or change shape Botched Ink will help with creating a clean slate.

  • I just had my brows done and I hate them. Can this remove them?

An emergency removal is ideal within the first 24-48 hours.  In some cases the majority of the tattoo can be removed.  Even within a month, chances of removing the pigment are high.

  • Is Botched Ink safe?

Yes. Botched Ink is a saline solution that closely resembles the skin’s natural pH.  As a result, it causes minimal inflammation or irritation.

  • How many sessions will it take to remove or lighten my current permanent makeup?

Although we may see great results after just one session, most clients will see improvements after 2-3 sessions.  It’s a good idea to mentally and financially commit to a course of 3 treatments prior to starting treatments.

  • What type of permanent makeup can be removed or lightened?

Botched Ink is currently approved for eyebrows and lip liner outside the natural vermillion line.

  • Can you guarantee my permanent makeup will be removed?

Unfortunately, No.  There are multiple variables that will affect your results.  These variables include but are not limited to; age of pigment, type of pigment, how many times pigment has been placed in the skin, technique used during the procedure, skin type, and lifestyle.

  • Is the healing process difficult?

No.  After the procedure Botched Ink quickly dries out on the treated area.  Pigment is lifted and removed during the skin’s natural healing process.  Instructions and a special ointment are provided at the time of treatment.

  • Is the procedure painful?

The procedure itself is pain free.  A topical numbing cream is applied prior to the procedure.  Towards the end of the procedure, you may feel a short mild sting, which lets us know we’ve soaked the skin sufficiently.

  • Prior to deciding, can I come in for a consultation?

Absolutely.  Consultations are free with no obligation.  It’s a great opportunity to assess the current pigment and discuss in greater detail, the procedure.
