Pre-Procedural Advice

One week Before

Stop taking the following supplements:

• Vitamin E
• B6
• Omega 3
• Gingko Biloba
• St. John's Wort
• (they may contribute to thinning the blood and may affect anesthetic efficacy. You may resume taking your vitamins 72 hours after.)

If you are taking any of these products under medical supervision, please consult your physician prior to discontinuing.

IF YOU ARE HAVING YOUR LIPS DONE, AND ARE PRONE TO COLD SORES YOU MUST BE ON A SUPPRESSION DOSE 5 DAYS PRIOR, OF AN ANTIVIRAL DRUG SUCH AS VALTREX TO PREVENT AN OUTBREAK. Please feel to call me if you have any questions.

• 72 hours before and after your appointment: avoid alcohol, caffeine, aspirin and any other related blood thinners.
• On the day of your appointment: Avoid caffeine and exercise. Wash your hair in the morning as you will need to avoid the shower for several days. Baths are recommended.
• Follow Post Procedural directions!
